Faith in Action: Students Lead Worship at DSA Sienna

A group of musicians performing on stage in front of an audience, with a large religious text displayed on the wall behind them.

Throughout the school year, middle and high school students step into leadership roles during chapel worship, Christmas programs, and Praise Nights. Our students prepare songs, practice together, and learn what it means to lead their peers in praise.

Worship teams take many forms, from full bands with guitar, drums, piano, and bass to individual students sharing piano or vocal solos. Each student brings their unique talents, creating worship experiences that encourage and inspire the entire school community.

In addition to those on stage, a group of middle school students is trained to manage the audio-visual side of chapel. These students run slides, microphones, and sound levels, learning valuable technical skills while practicing servant leadership behind the scenes.

These student-led worship moments have become a special highlight at DSA Sienna. They teach responsibility, teamwork, and confidence while helping students see worship as a way to serve God and others. We give glory to God for the ways He continues to work through our students and our school community.
