Alejandro began attending DSA in 6th grade and quickly developed a love for entrepreneurship. He spent his time at DSA exploring his passions and bonding with friends in classes like Aerospace Engineering. When he wasn’t building rockets, he was building his business, a non-profit called Books for You Miami. The professionalism Alejandro experienced at DSA—both in the classroom and from his teachers—instilled a sense of excellence that he continues to apply to his work, especially in his non-profit business.

Post-DSA, Alejandro is excelling at the University of Miami as a Business Entrepreneurship major. Under his leadership, Books for You Miami collects and distributes educational materials to communities in need, having already impacted over 400,000 people locally and globally in places like the Philippines, Haiti, Venezuela, and Africa. 

He even works with fellow DSA alumni to further the work of his non-profit, which has received recognition from a number of organizations such as Prudential, The Miami Herald, and more! Looking ahead, Alejandro plans to expand Books for You Miami and hopes to further bridge educational gaps here and around the world.

Alejandro has a lot to balance! But apart from work and school, you may find him flipping houses with his dad or picking up the racket for a tennis match.
