Emiliana joined the DSA family for her senior year, and though her time on campus was short, its impact has lasted far beyond graduation. She jumped into school life by joining the first prom committee, helping give her classmates a memorable prom experience. It was also a year of unexpected spiritual growth. Having never been close to her faith before, Emiliana found herself drawn in by theology classes and weekly chapel, leaving DSA with seeds of faith that continue to grow in her life today.

After graduating from DSA, Emiliana went on to Florida State University, where she earned a bachelor's degree in Psychology with a minor in Child Development. She entered college with her sights set on becoming a therapist, but one of the most valuable lessons DSA gave her was a comfort with change and the confidence to embrace new directions. With that mindset, she was led to a career in human resources. Today, Emiliana serves as an Area HR Representative overseeing 500+ employees across South Florida, managing the full lifecycle of the employee experience.

Outside of her demanding career, Emiliana's life is full of love and excitement. She recently got engaged, purchased her first home, and stays active as a personal trainer. She is also studying for her Society for Human Resource Management Certified Professional certification (SHRM-CP), a nationally recognized certificate for HR professionals looking to invest in their professional growth.
