• PreK- 3 Applicants: Must be 3 years old by September 1 of the year for which they are applying.
• PreK- 4 Applicants: Must be 4 years old by September 1 of the year for which they are applying.
• Kindergarten Applicants: Must be 5 years old by September 1 of the year for which they are applying.
• 1st Grade Applicants: Must be 6 years old by September 1 of the year for which they are applying. (Unless the child has successfully completed Kindergarten at any public school or an accredited private school.)

All applicants must be able to care for their restroom needs independently. 

There are no exceptions to these requirements.

• Step 2: If you already have an admissions parent portal account, click here to be taken to the online application. 

A non-refundable application fee of $250 is to be submitted with the application form. We encourage you to reach out to our admissions department before applying.

• PreK-3 through Kindergarten: Not Applicable
• 1st - 9th Grade: Copy of current report card and previous year report card
• 10th - 12th Grade: Copy of high school transcript

• Birth Certificate/Passport: A copy of either one is required of all applicants.
• 504/IEP/PsychoEd Plan: Any of these documents must be submitted during the application process if the applicant has ever received one.

• PreK-3 through 1st Grade: If your child has been in a school setting (or daycare center), the recommender should be his/her current or former teacher. If your child has not been in a school setting (or daycare center), the recommender could be an adult who knows or has worked with your child in the past.
• 2nd through 12th Grade: All applicants must have a recommendation from a principal/counselor, math teacher, and an English teacher.

Admissions will schedule students for testing only after the application form and fee have been submitted with all supporting documents. 

The following section explains the format of the test at each level:

• PreK-3 Applicants: Testing includes guided play and interactions, as well as experiences that allow us to observe the child’s fine and gross motor skills and development.
• PreK-4 and Kindergarten: Applicants are tested using the Bracken School Readiness Assessment that includes the observation of concepts related to colors, letters, numbering/counting, size/comparison, shapes, and more. The test also includes a social-emotional component and opportunities to demonstrate fine and gross motor skills.
• 1st through 12th grade: Applicants are tested in the areas of reading (early literacy skills for incoming 1st graders), writing, and mathematics. 

An age-appropriate interview is conducted with all applicants as part of the application process.

After the testing process is complete, our  admissions team will have all they need to make a decision on your student’s application. Once a decision has been made, you will receive an email and see a decision update on your admissions parent portal account.

Each year parents are required to pay an enrollment deposit to secure their child’s spot for the following school year. You are only guaranteed your child’s spot if you complete the re-enrollment paperwork online (through your admissions parent portal account) and the enrollment deposit is received by the published deadline.

Current students will only be allowed to enroll for the following year after the deadline if seats are available and when the $150 late fee is paid.
